Swindon Tennis Club participate in the Swindon & District Leagues and the National Club League.

Great success has been achieved over the past few seasons. In the 2006 season, twelve of our teams either won their league or got promoted.

In 2007, six teams were promoted with five winning their league.

Every member of the club is encouraged to participate in the clubs league teams. The format for the league is all doubles play. Two pairs are required for each team and they play two sets against the two opposition pairing, except in the Winter League where the format is two sets of mixed and then two sets of mens and ladies doubles.

Each team has a squad of players to pick from for the season and most captains work on a rotation basis to give all members of the squad an even number of games. New members are always welcome to join the team squads through the season.

The mens teams captain for 2008 is Daniel Casey and the ladies teams captain is Jo Williams. Contact Us if you wish to be considered for any of the teams.

The club also enters a team for the National Club League, this squad usually includes two of the clubs coaches, Neil Watts and Steve Yeardley.
